Contenu de la formation
The course is made up of numerous multimedia activities (text, illustrations, audio, video) that the learner discovers and carries out as he or she studies the different themes. These activities take a variety of forms: vocabulary discovery, glossaries, dictations, word-translation associations, MCQs, fill-in-the-blank texts, etc.
Équipe pédagogique
This course is taught by Stéphanie DUBOIS, (École Nationale Supérieure Maritime [ENSM], Nantes site).
The course is designed for maximum autonomy. Nevertheless, learners can address their questions to the teacher via the "pedagogical forum".
Évaluation
One hour of written expression.

Compétences visées
At the end of the Maritime English (Technical) course, learners will be able to :
- describe the specific features of a merchant marine vessel
- identify the different types of merchant marine vessels, their functions and characteristics
- retain the relevant English vocabulary
